How the System Works

Tender Render, our AI-powered tender intelligence platform, automatically downloads, processes, and analyses tenders from South Africa's public procurement system. The scraping is the easy part. What happens after is where it gets interesting.

Every tender that enters the system goes through a document validation step first. Procurement packages often contain many attachments — pricing schedules, administrative forms, general conditions — most of which tell you very little about what the tender is actually for. The system identifies which documents are core to understanding the opportunity (scope of work, technical specifications, and similar) and focuses its analysis there. Only the documents that matter get reasoned over.

From there, each tender is evaluated against a client's knockout criteria: a small set of binary questions that determine whether an opportunity is worth considering at all. If it doesn't pass, it's out.
